From the Book to the Streets is the centre point of my second year editorial design project. It involved designing both the interior spreads and the book cover, with a strong emphasis on layout, the use of image, and typographic choices. Although this was my second time designing page spreads, this was my first time designing a cover. I chose to keep the cover minimal and reflect its content through the colour and type choices, creating a contemporary response to the subject matter.

It was also my first time creating page spreads with imagery, which added a new level of thinking into my choices. Overall, I am really pleased with the results and think I responded well to the brief.
